How to keep savegame data after changing grass region | MP dedi server

Hi!

Can someone help me to understand what's going on?

I am changing grass regions on our MP map. I want to put the new version of the map on the server. I have to create new save game (clean one) and transfer some files from the old savegame to the new one.

Problem is I loose growth states and other important stuff so that it is only good to make such update in winter time.

Question:

1) which files in the savegame are responsible for the grass region information?

2) is there a proper way to update map and not loose too many stats from the old savegame?

I know the question are poorly worded...
