Guidance Steering (GPS mod for FS19)

How the basics works

Be aware that this version doesn´t support the full feature package yet!

Buying GPS

Before you’re able to use GPS you have to buy the configuration in the shop!

Open the menu

In order to open the menu hit ctrl + s.

Setup your AB line

Drive to the location you want to setup your lines.

Hit alt + e once in order to reset the AB creation.

Hit alt + e once more in order to set point A.

Hit alt + e once more in order to set point B.

Hit alt + e again and it will create the track.

Auto width

Hit alt + r in order to calculate the width of your vehicle.

Tip: unfold and lower the vehicle in order to get the best results!

Increase/descrease width

Hit alt + plus and minus in order to change the width

Please note that this only works after the track creation!

Terrain angle snapping

If you’re not able to create straight lines yourself you can enable angle snapping in the menu.

This will align the AB lines with the terrain.

Toggle guidance steering

Once a track is created hit alt + x to toggle the steering.

Headland control

Currently it auto stops at the headland when cruise control is enabled.

This feature and headland turning is still being worked on.

MP

This version should work in MP, but keep in mind it might have bugs.

Dev tips:

To quickly zip the dev mod without the needed extra’s, use the zip.bat.

Please note: the zip.bat requires the application 7zip to be installed!

Nabend liebe Gemeinde.

Ich habe mit dieser Mod Probleme, LUA Callstacks um genau zu sein.

Zum Anfang: Ich habe mir die Mod runtergeladen, entpack, den darin enthaltenen Ordner angeklickt, alle sich darin befindenden Dateiuen ausgeweählt und zu einer .ZIP Datei archiviert.

Dann in die Mod-Liste eingefügt. Sie ist auswählbar und auch im Spiel kann ich die Einstellungen vornehmen.

Ich fahre die Position A 15 meter ein, beende sie und aktiviere mit alt + x das GPS und genau ab da, stockt mein Spiel, reagieret nur kurz bis es dann ganz abstürzt. Ich habe die letzte Beta-Version, nicht die Entwicklerversion, da die, vorher gar nicht ging.

Ehrlich gesagt, ich bin überfragt und habe mehrfach versucht das zu ändern. Kann mir jmnd einen Denkanstoß geben?

An sich echt cooler Mod.Echt Respekt.Ich habe nur das Problem,wenn ich mit Lenkrad (Logitech G29) spiele,lenkt der gps es nicht,nehme ich die Befehle links und rechts lenken für Lenkrad raus,geht es,kann mir jemand helfen wie das fixen kann?

Für mich ist der GPS nichts zu Kompliziert für mich. Ich bleibe lieber bei dem was das Vehicle Control Addon mit liefert. Einfach aber Genial. Und das wichtigste ist ich kapiere das sofort. Ich schmeiße den sogenannten GPS wieder aus dem ordner nur ein Platzhalter. Also raus damit völlig unnötig. Muss ja immer alles richtig Kompliziert sein. Je Komplizierter das Script oder sonstiges umso besser ist er denken die meisten. Von mir aus, aber wie gesagt für mich zu kompliziert.

HALLO, Das GPS ist einfach nur genial, sehr gelungen und es macht einfach nur Spaß damit zu Spielen.

Ich hoffe es kommt noch mehr von Dir.

Die Erläuterung für die Installation und die Einstellungen im Spiel empfehle ich den Sachsen lets Player und Cornhub auf YouTube, das hat er wirklich sehr gut erklärt ( für Doofe ). Ich bin selber auch nicht so Computer Fit.

Fehler gefunden nun sind die Punkte auch Grün und es läuft 1 A da es nun eine Neue Version gibt die auch auf Deutsch ist !

Also es läuft nur eins geht bei mir nicht drücke ich ALT+X kommen keine Grüne Punkte die bleiben Weiß aber er bleibt in der Bahn ! Weiß einer warum die nicht Grün werden ?

Danke für den Mod!

Das neue GPS gefällt mir fast noch besser als das alte.

Die Umsetzung als Kaufoption im Traktor ist genial.

Ich freue mich schon auf die nächsten Versionen.

Aber fürs erste bin ich glücklich, weil ich meine Feldarbeit wieder wie vom LS17 gewohnt machen kann.

Hallo,

ich muss sagen mir gefällt der Mod jetzt schon ganz gut und ich bin gespannt wie er noch wird.

Ich persönlich würde mir noch wünschen das es bei den Missionen ebenfalls funktioniert, natürlich weiß ich das dies noch eine Mod ist welche noch in der Entwicklung ist und vielleicht ist mein Anliegen ja auch schon in arbeit. Aber ich wollte es einfach mal ansprechen.

Alles in allem ist die Bedienung etwas Gewöhnung wenn man es vom Ls17 kennt aber nicht unmöglich.

Weiter so!!!!

Ich habe es gerade auch mal versucht einen gespeicherte Spur zu laden spiele mit der aktuellsten Version die zur Verfügung steht auf GitHub. Bei mir funktioniert es auch nicht aber es ist bestimmt in Bearbeitung.

Ich denke mal das du das meintest.

Hallo und guten Morgen,

erstmal vielen vielen lieben Dank an den "Erschaffer" des neuen GPS. Ich habe so lange darauf gewartet......Auch wenn es noch eine Beta Version ist, funktioniert er doch schon recht gut. Und wie man auch schon gesehen hat, kommt da laufend ein Update (eine Version mit deutscher Übersetzung nachgereicht usw.) Der Mod wird sicherlich auch noch viel mehr verfeinert. Was ich auch richtig gut und sinnvoll finde, ist das man jetzt in jedem Schlepper, Mähdrescher usw. das GPS erst als Zusatzausstattung kaufen muss (wie eben auch in Real). Finde ich persönlich richtig klasse, es hat ja schließlich nicht jeder alter Schlepper, wie z.b. der 500er Favorit, ein GPS ab Werk. Nachrüsten kann man es ja wohl hingegen.

So und für diejenigen die meinen hier rummaulen und rummeckern zu müssen, das sei alles schrott oder Mist oder sie seien kein Spieleprogrammierer sei gesagt: 1. Wenn Euch das nicht passt, dann ladet es nicht! Kritisieren ist ok, aber der Ton macht die Musik!!!!
2. Es gibt mittlerweile so viele Videos auf YT darüber, wie man das ganze installiert, da sollte man ggf. eben mal reinschauen .
3. Es ist nun wirklich nicht so schwer wie man denkt. Ich spreche da aus eigener Erfahrung. Hatte im 17er damals bei CP auch gedacht: "Oha wie kompliziert" aber nachdem ich mir dann mal ein Video angeschaut habe wie es geht, war ich angenehm überrascht wie einfach es geht. Und ich bin beileibe KEIN Programmierer. Soll heißen: EINFACH MAL PROBIEREN!!!!

Aber nun ja....rumgemaule, rumgemeckere und beleidigen ist ja so einfacher heutzutage.......fällt mir gerade in letzter Zeit in der LS-Com massiv auf. Leider.............Finde ich persönlich sehr sehr traurig. Das Leben ist eigentlich viel zu kurz für so einen Mist.

In diesem Sinne wünsche ich trotzdem allen noch einen schönen Sonntag und für die, die GPS haben ganz viel Spaß damit ;)

Und wie schon gesagt gibt es schon mehrere Videos darüber es zu Installieren!

Falls es doch mal nicht funktioniert oder Fehler schmeißt kann man höflich Fragen, dann wird einem der Modder/das Forum bestimmt helfen.

Großes Lob und vielen Dank an Wopster für diesen Mod!

Macht was er soll und er wird mit Sicherheit noch besser der Mod!

An die Leute die wieder nur meckern von wegen zu umständlich und so:

Ihr müsst den Mod ja nicht laden!

Könnt euch ja selbst einen Mod bauen wenn Ihr es besser könnt!

Ich bin froh das es solche Modder gibt die Ihre Arbeit mit uns teilen!

Mittlerweile gibt es den MOD bei GitHub auch mit deutschen, französischen und weiteren Texten.

Man sieht das es ein MOD in Entwicklung ist der das Spiel wieder ein gutes Stück besser macht.

Das Ganze ist eine sehr gelungene Sache. (Noch) nicht so umfangreich, wie einst der GPS-Mod, aber er tut das, was er soll und das sehr zuverlässig. Großes Lob und Dank an Wopster.

it is good thus far. It would be nice ,if i can toggle the White GPS way/direction point on/off. by the way i would prefer lines instead of points.

Wie @ Stavmanio schon geschrieben hat: Die Deadzone vom Lenkrad auf 1 oder höher setzten.

Das GPS schaltet schon bei der kleinsten Bewegung am Lenkrad ab. ( Nicht so wie im 17 er wo es bei ca. 45-90 Grad abgeschaltet hat ) Kommt bestimmt noch.

Was mir aufgefallen ist das es sich mit VehicleControlAddon ein wenig stört.

Sonst alles SUPER bis jetzt. Weiter so.

Funktioniert für eine Betaversion doch schon recht gut!

Vielen Dank an den Moder dafür und mach bitte weiter so.

Das es nicht so ist wie das alte GPS im 17er liegt halt daran,

dass sich ein anderer Moder damit beschäftigt und einen eigenen

Lösungsansatz gefunden hat der bestimmt noch weiterentwickelt wird.

Wer mit Github und den dort zu beziehenden XYZ-Master.zip Dateien Probleme hat,

muss halt warten bis die fertigen Mods irgendwann bei ModHub oder so erscheinen

oder nicht. Aber deshalb hier darüber rumjammern finde ich total daneben.

Man bekommt doch leidet den Eindruck das viele nicht lesen können oder nicht verstehen was eine Beta ist. Es ist doch alles erklärt. Da muss man kein Programmierer sein. Wenn man das nicht hinbekommt mit Anleitung sollte man dringend einen Computerkurs besuchen.

Leider ist das zukomplizert im Spiel oder ich bin zu dumm. ich habe es auf dem Schlepper aber bring das irgendwie nicht hin das es dann auch geht.
